• Investigated and interpreted legacy application code to resolve customer support tickets focusing on clarifying system behavior and logic. Legacy applications consist of various .NET applications such as MVC web (with Razor and Angular frontend), REST API, and WCF services.

• Diagnosed complex application workflows to provide detailed explanations of software functionality and data interactions.

• Queried and updated production data using Microsoft SQL Server to support issue resolution, ensure data integrity, and fulfill operational requests.

Blue Sky Evolution

Software Engineer (May 2019 -  September 2023)

• Maintained and updated the Orbital web application, a mapping and data-tracking tool used by the pipeline industry. Application is built using ASP.NET web forms with a VB.NET backend.

• Managed client data using Microsoft SQL Server.

• Adapted the Orbital web application to use .pml files for reading pipeline survey data, a new file format intended for easier data formatting and readability.

• Utilized Chart.js and Leaflet.js to chart and map data from user-uploaded pipeline survey files.

• Created a license management tool to help clients manage purchased licenses for desktop software. Built in .NET MVC with a C# backend.

• Implemented a workflow manager tool in the Orbital web application for users to create and manage workflow items. Uses a Kanban-style interface for work units created within the workflow.

• Implemented on a document management system in the Orbital web application for users to upload and manage documents. Features include creating annotations for documents, integrating with Orbital's workflow manager, and organizing through document metadata. Documents are stored using Amazon's S3 storage system.

• Managed deployment and updates of Blue Sky's web software through DevOps practices in Amazon AWS.

• Implemented Unit Testing for backend work using XUnit.
